2015: This is final battle to liberate Deltans — Ogboru

ASABA—LABOUR Party, LP, governorship candidate in the 2015 general elections in Delta State, Chief Great Ogboru, has described the contest as his final battle in the quest to, according to him, “liberate the people of Delta State.” Ogboru in Asaba, the state capital after he was elected by acclamation as the party’s governorship flagbearer in the 2015 governorship poll, vowed to defend the people’s mandate which he said had always made him the genuine winner of previous elections. He said: “In the agitation, movement and struggle to liberate Delta State, we all can see now that there is a big difference. We have fought so many battles and even when we win, they say we didn’t win, but this is the last battle and the last river to cross. “People have been talking about Delta North, Delta Central, Delta South, but no one is talking about Delta State. Delta State is being controlled by a set of cabal, which is the strongest in the sub-sahara region and the people must be liberated.”

Every judge I sacked got fair hearing —Mukhtar

ABUJA— The retired Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Aloma Mukhtar, yesterday, denied using her former position to witch-hunt judges who had personal issues with her. *Aloma Mariam Mukhtar Speaking at a valedictory court session organised in her honour by the Supreme Court, yesterday, Justice Mukhtar, whose tenure as CJN witnessed the sack of seven judges, said she ensured that all sacked judges got fair hearing. Queen of Versailles' Stars' Daughter Victoria Siegel Dead at 18

The teenage daughter of Queen Of Versailles stars David 80 and Jackie Siegel 49, has been found dead at the family's luxury Florida mansion. 18 year old Victoria Siegel was found unresponsive by sheriff's deputies at the Seagull Island mansion on Green Island Cove just after 2 p.m. on Saturday and performed CPR on Siegel. She was discovered by the family housekeeper and was rushed to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, where she was pronounced dead. The family and their extravagant lifestyle gained international attention after the release of the 2012 documentary The Queen Of Versailles Investigators are working with the medical examiner to determine cause and manner of death, but it is rumoured  that she died of a drug overdose.
